Getting back into the rhythm of blogging is something I’ve been contemplating for quite some time now. That’s honestly been one of my biggest dilemmas – having too many intricate ideas for tasks and projects and not actually executing them or seeing them through for whatever reason, albeit from a fundamental lack of time, resources, sincere interest or because there are simply other things in life that rank higher on the priority queue and demand more immediate attention. It’s very easy to get bogged down with these other obligations like work and school, thus my ideas often remain just that – ideas.
But with the right changes in my life (primarily changing my degree from Biomedical Computing to English Literature – Y I K E, THAT’S a story) and some really sweet words of support and encouragement from friends and even mere acquaintances alike I have finally been able to overcome the activation energy that is starting a new blog and embarking on this literary journey.
I’d like to use this platform as a way to further express myself and document anything notable in my life, and seeing as I’m a bit of a materialistic twat, that would entail the things that I eat, buy, wear and do. Though, do keep in mind, I am a university student so you might be able to imagine the extent of my materialism yeah? I’m the physical embodiment of that “spends last $7.50 on a venti cappuccino” meme. If you’re down for that kind of content then you’ve found the right place!
